World AMR Awareness Week

 As part of World Antimicrobial Awareness Week 2025, our members shared their perspectives on why AMR matters to everyone and how we can contribute to tackling it. Their reflections aimed to raise awareness of the global challenge of antimicrobial resistance and help prevent the emergence and spread of drug-resistant infections. 

Stirling Science Festival: activity for kids

 NexGenAMR participated in the Stirling Science Festival 2025 on 17th October, delivering hands-on activities designed to introduce the concept of One Health to children aged 6–12. Using interactive objects, we demonstrated how human, animal, and environmental health are interconnected in many different ways.

Stirling Science Festival: activity for all ages

NexGenAMR participated in the Stirling Science Festival 2025 on 16th October, presenting the talk and interactive activity “From Farm to Pharmacy: Superbugs, Health and You.” The session aimed to engage the audience in exploring how microbes affect health and well-being, what antimicrobial resistance is, and the everyday actions individuals can take to reduce its impact.
